Susan McClure is a musician, writer, and mom of two. Her love for music began more than 25 years ago when she took her first piano lesson. Susan studied the piano and flute in college and has participated in several recordings. She has experience as a private lesson teacher, choir and ensemble director, and performer. In addition to music, Susan also works as a freelance writer. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her two kids, gardening, reading, and blogging at www.kiddingaroundgreenville.com.
John Tracy – TBMA Original Articles
John Tracy is the founder and director of Tampa Bay Music Academy. He is a music teacher, performer, producer, recording artist, and publisher. His bachelor’s degree is in music with a proficiency in saxophone. He has performed in and conducted multiple vocal and instrumental groups. He has served as the music pastor for two large baptist churches, the conductor of a high skill level performance youth orchestra (CLICK HERE for a recent article in the St. Pete Times about John’s orchestra), a classroom teacher on the elementary, middle school, and high school level, and the administrator of two different music schools prior to launching Tampa Bay Music Academy in 2011. Outside of his work as a music educator, Mr. Tracy also composes, records, and publishes music through his independent record label, Witness Music, and performs frequently on the saxophone throughout the Tampa Bay area.
