Jorge Aragon was born in Cuba in 1988 and has been trained for 15 years as a classical pianist. He holds a Master’s degree in Composition for Film, Television, and Videogames in Madrid, Spain. As a composer, orchestrator, producer, arranger, and pianist, he has honed his skills under the tutelage of renowned composers at the prestigious Sundance Lab in California, where he received instruction from James Newton Howard, Peter Golub, Adam Smalley, Alan Silvestri, Fil Eisler, Tony Morales, and other distinguished figures in the Hollywood film industry. Has had the privilege of working for 10 years with the esteemed songwriter Silvio Rodríguez. Since 2017, he has excelled as a composer and orchestrator in collaboration with hornist Sarah Willis of the Berliner Philharmoniker and the Havana Lyceum Orchestra, conducted by José Antonio Méndez Padrón. His performances have graced various prestigious concert halls worldwide, including La Philharmonie (Berlin Philharmonic Headquarters), Kennedy Center (Washington), Central Park
(New York), Wizink Center (Madrid), and Palau Sant Jordi (Barcelona), among other significant venues globally.
