Marisa Collins’ extensive experience includes teaching private lessons, composing and arranging scores for video productions at Florida State University, arranging orchestral scores and parts from existing film scores, and composing pieces for solo piano and for orchestra. She has participated in several piano performance competitions, and in 2019 she won the Grand Prize in Piano Performance at the Music-Fest Rising Talents Festival.
Marisa is also a former student at Tampa Bay Music Academy herself! During high school, she took piano lessons with our very own Sara Graf, an experience she credits with developing her musicianship and prepare her to further study music at FSU.
We couldn’t be prouder of Marisa’s accomplishments, and we’re thrilled that she chose to reinvest her talents in the lives of students with us.
