John Tracy

John Tracy, Executive Director, Private Teacher

John Tracy is the founder and Executive Director of Tampa Bay Music Academy. He is a music teacher, performer, producer, recording artist, and publisher. His bachelor’s degree is in music with a proficiency in saxophone. He has performed in and conducted multiple vocal and instrumental groups. He has served as the music pastor for two large baptist churches, and currently leads worship on the pastoral staff of Keystone Bible Church.  John also has several years of experience as a conductor of a high skill level performance youth orchestra (CLICK HERE for an article in the St. Pete Times about John’s orchestra), a classroom teacher on the elementary, middle school, and high school level, and the administrator of two different music schools prior to launching Tampa Bay Music Academy in 2011. Outside of his work as a music educator, Mr. Tracy composes, records, and publishes music through his independent record label, Witness Music, and performs frequently on the saxophone throughout the Tampa Bay area.
